The F-35 is probably the best fighter jet in the world currently. It’s the most technologically advanced aircraft to have ever been made, and it’s not even close to anything before it. So I’m probably gonna get asked, “why not the F-22 Raptor?” Well, the F-22 Raptor is almost 30 years old and its age is showing. It might outperform the Lightning in a dogfight, but other than that the Lightning has the upper hand.
