Come to work with me as a Private Chef pt 21  *All-Purpose Cheese Sauce (freezer friendly) - great on steamed veggies, baked potatoes, pasta, or nachos. *Ingredients: 1/2 cup heavy cream  1 oz or 2 tb cream cheese, room temp  1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (do not use pre-shredded)  2 TB sour cream  1/2 tsp yellow mustard powder  1/2 tsp xanthan gum Salt to taste Pinch of cayenne if you want *Melt cream cheese with heavy cream in a saucepan over very low heat, whisking constantly, until smooth. Take off heat and add cheese and continue whisking until smooth. Add the sour cream and put back over very low heat and whisk until melted and a pourable consistency. Add mustard powder, xanthan gum, salt and cayenne and whisk. It will thicken as it cools. Portion into freezer friendly bags and freeze up to 3-4 months. Defrost in fridge overnight.
