Fun fact: Several years ago, Brandon actually wrote a grant that got these pump-outs subsidized to make them more affordable for everyone. Before this grant, pumpouts were $2 a gallon! You can imagine how expensive that got. Although it is required to pump out, because of the costs, many folks used to secretly dump their septic in the lake (nasty right?!). Now, it’s just $5 a pump-out! This encourages & makes it easy for everyone to follow public health regulations & be more environmentally responsibly with their 💩🤠

made a new year’s resolution to take my paddleboard out more often. living on the water full time, sometimes it’s easy to get complacent & not regularly take advantage of our access to activities like this that most folks have to drive quite a ways to do. then again, we have to drive quite a ways to a grocery store or restaurant 🙈 but hey, I’d take a long drive to the store any day for these beautiful views! 😍⛰️🌊
