After we sold our foreclosure house because my husband was transferred to work, we started looking for out forever home. We always wanted an acreage but the housing market was nuts and there was not much on the market, especially that we could afford. So we settled on this small, 1000 square foot fixer upper that we could renovate while looking for our forever home. We planned on staying here a couple years, especially to avoid capital gains. Well turns out, that came weeks after buying this houe 😂😅 so we had to rush to renovate this house so we could move onto our dream house. We ended uo not making much money off of it because the house market slowed drastically here in Nebraska. But we had fun and learned a lot. And at least we didnt lose money 😂😂
