Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico needs to be added to everyone’s bucket list.
It has the largest underground cave system in North America and ended up spending 2 hours exploring these caves as they are so beautiful to see in person – these videos don’t do justice.
Be sure to enter the cave system through the Natural Entrance at the Bat Flight Amphitheater area.
Reservations are required to enter the cave and can not be made at the park, be sure to reserve them ahead of time on recreation dot gov. Have fun & enjoy!

Replying to @lightyearr_ an approx itinerary for our trip to the Texas and New Mexico National Parks! We started in Denver so we did two full days of driving on either end of this itinerary that aren’t included. Also would like to note we did not end up camping two nights at Pine Springs campground and got a last minute hotel for night two due to high winds, we stayed in Alpine,TX and this eneded up being a nice change to the itinerary as it cut up the long drive south to Big Bend!
