I’ve never met anyone that doesn’t like Korean black bean noodles Recipe 📖👇🏻
* 1 cup of Black Bean paste
* 1 squash
* 1 yellow onion
* 4-5 green onion stalks
* 2 strips of pork belly
* 1 cup of neutral oil
* 2-3 servings of hand cut noodles
* 2 cups of water (or enough to cover the vegetables)
* 2 tbsp of cornstarch
* 4 tbsp of water
* 1 cucumber (garnish)
* Pickled radish (optional side dish)

1. Chop up your green onion, onion, squash, and julienne cucumber.
2. Cut pork belly into bite size pieces.
3. Add black bean paste to your neutral oil at medium heat. Fry it for 3-4 minutes. This will help get rid of some bitter taste.
4. Add your pork belly to a fry pan and render the fat out until golden brown. Drain as much fat as you want and add green onion and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add onions and stir. Add squash and stir.
6. Add black bean paste, 3 tbsp of sugar, and 2 tbsp of oyster sauce.
7. Add the water and let it boil for 5 minutes or until vegetables soften.
8. Combine 2 tbsp of cornstarch to 4 tbsp of water to create a slurry (2:1, water:cornstarch).
9. Add the cornstarch slurry the to boiling mixture and wait for it to thicken. Stir occasionally.
10. Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water.
11. Assemble with noodles, sauce, cucumber & side of pickled radish.
*You can also eat this sauce with rice!
