SplashZen does not delay your reaction time! Parents should ALWAYS be watching their kids in the tub at ALL TIMES. As long as the child is being watched properly, there is no risk for drowning. The splash guard itself would not cause drowning, but neglectful parenting could (with or without a splash guard). Please always supervise children in the tub.

This Fine motor activity has always been my favorite to do the day before thanksgiving break. It takes at least an hour to do. I always start with reading Giving Thanks, A Native American Good Morning Message by Chief Jake Swamp. It’s a great book about being thankful. There’s a YouTube read aloud version of this book if you don’t have it.
Then I sit my students in a big circle with the recycling bin in the middle of the circle for all of our trash. They come prepared with a writing utensil and a pair of scissors. And we do one page at a time together.
Sometimes I add an extra orange piece of construction paper at the end of the book and they can draw and write about anything they are thankful for.
My students love reading their book when it’s all put together.
