A kitchen hack! Did you know that You can make peeling a butternut easy by microwaving it for 1-2 minutes, which results in the skin of the butternut softening, making it easy & faster to peel with something as simple as a peeler.
My mind was blown!
Thanks @hush_in_my_kitchen for teaching me this during the seafood feast masterclass. It's these small tips and tricks that really makes a difference when cooking. I use to run away from making butternut dishes because of how difficult it is to peel it! So happy I learnt this!

everyone needs a reliable laptop and headphones, everything else is completely up to you.
two pieces of advice when shopping for tech for college, especially if you’re spending your own money:
1️⃣ don’t get caught up in trendy products — consider what works best for you.
if paper notes worked well for you all throughout high school and you never cared to have digital files, there’s no need to get an ipad.
2️⃣ don’t (always) buy new
buy certified renewed/refurbished products or by the second to most recent version of the product, especially if you’re not sure how much use you’ll get out of a product.
however, it can be good to buy the best and newest if you already know you like a product and won’t want to replace it for 4-5+ years.

DIY floating bed
I made this bed using cypress wood which I then stained with a walnut finish.
I first cut the base pieces at a 30° angle to create that floating effect.
The I joined the two bases together using some 2x3 pieces.
After finishing the internal structure, I cladded the exterior pieces from inside of the structure so I don’t have any visible screws.
Overall I’m very happy with the results
