STAYING IN BEAUTIFUL PLACES DOESN’T HAVE TO BE EXPENSIVE 🙌 📍 Lagarza hostel - we paid £23/night and this included a $7.50 breakfast. This is not super cheap obviously, but look at those views. This hostel had an infinity pool, direct beach access, double bed bunk beds with curtains the whole way round for privacy, plus air con, so 100% worth the £23. 📍 Mellow Hostel, El Paredon, Guatemala - from £10/night. We paid slightly more, £13/night to get the rooms with air con, but you can pay £10 for rooms with fans. This hostel was 2 minutes from the beach, had a huge swimming pool, loads of places to relax, was super sociable, had amazing food and I felt £13/night was very good value. 📍 Zephyr Lodge, Lanquin, Guatemala - we paid £13.50/night (this was during their low season, beds are a bit more during high season). This hostel is in the middle of the Guatemalan mountains, surrounded by trees & a beautiful river, it has an infinity pool, hot tub, beautiful views from your bed & a huge social space.
