my thoughts regarding SLRs are that they’re the best way to get into the film photography world — they force you to be more intentional with focusing, aperture, and shutter speed whereas point and shoots make all the decisions for you (which is totally fine) i highly recommend just getting something cheap and easy to learn, such as the Minolta X-370, X-700, and the Pentax K1000. i’m a huge fan of the minolta series as they’re very lightweight and easy to handle. the Pentax is a great mechanical camera where the meter is very intutive, and accurate. I’m personally not a huge fan of the Canon AE-1 series but those are also great cameras as well #photography #filmphotography #35mm #analog #filmlab #harveyfilmlab

The Nikon Fe is my go-to 35mm film SLR.
