Set the stove to high heat and add some low cal cooking. Allow the pan to sufficiently heat up first and then pour a small dollop (ice cream scoop size), and turn the heat to medium-low. 3. Let the pancake cook for 1-1.5 mins until you see bubbles popping on the top, then flip it over and cook for a further minute (no longer). Repeat till the mixture is finished (keep the pan on medium-low, as it will stay hot) 4. Single Serve Baked Protein Pancake Bowls with 31g protein each 🫶 Each bowl uses my go-to protein pancake recipe which can be found in the link in my bio!! I like to make 3-4 bowls at a time for meal prep. I just mix up each bowl individually, I topped one with chopped strawberries, the other with sugar free chocolate chips and I left one plain. I bake them for 20-22 minutes at 180c (it may look underdone in the middle but once it cools and sets it’ll be cooked- try not to overcook it) I let them cool down then store in the fridge for 3-4 days. When ready to eat I microwave them for about 40-60 seconds. Cottage cheese and oat protein pancakes Soft, fluffy and fudgey, these pancakes have me addicted. So simple to make, blend the batter until smooth if you dont want little chunks of cottage cheese and top with nut butter, maple syrup and berries. Filling, balanced and just so good. 230kcal and 16g protein You will need 2 tbsp cottage cheese (low fat or normal) 1 heaped tbsp plain flour 2 rounded tbsp quick cook oats 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 medium egg Zest of 1/2 lemon Sweetener of choice, I used a few drops of vanilla sweetener. Simply mix all the ingredients together, If you don’t want the cottage cheese consistency/ chunks simply blend all together. Once combined leave to sit for 5 minutes to firm up. Heat a nonstick frying pan over a low/medium heat, spoon the mix to form small equal sized pancakes. Making them small helps with flipping! Cook for 3 minutes (don’t burn, then the heat down if needed) Flip and cook the other side for 2-3 more minutes. They should feel light and springy to touch. Why do they always look too good to be true? 😩⁣ ⁣ Original recipe idea from @Emma ⁣ ⁣ The way I made mine is lower in calories.⁣ ⁣ Pancake:⁣ 1/2 c Kodiak Powercakes Mix (any flavor)⁣ 1/2 medium banana⁣ 1 scoop protein powder (I used @flex_brands Vanilla Whey/Casein)⁣ 1/4 c egg whites⁣ ⁣ Toppings*:⁣ 1/4 diced strawberries⁣ 1/4 blueberries⁣ 3 tbsp powdered PB⁣ 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips⁣ Sugar free syrup (use to mix powdered PB and drizzle on top of pancake)⁣ *This is what I used for toppings - you can use whatever you want!⁣ ⁣ Mix up the pancake ingredients in a microwave safe bowl. Once a batter has formed, spread it evenly and then microwave for 1-2 minutes. Length of time will vary depending on what size of dish you use. While the pancake microwaves, dice up strawberries and mix together PB powder and sugar free syrup.
