Have you tried Pineberries before?! 🍓🍍 I’ve had these plants a few years now and I’m so in love 🤤 First year I had a dismal harvest.. 2022 totally made up for it! Every year I’m rooting runners (the grow a LOT) to make more plants for free 😍 A pineberry is a pale strawberry with red seeds. They’re slightly smaller than most normal strawberries and don’t last as long however they really do taste like pineapple! 🍍 They grow like normal strawberries so you can treat them exactly the same. I have some in little plastic troughs, some in grow bags and a bunch in my large Vegepod. Pineberries are not a GMO but the result of cross-pollination. It’s a hybrid of two species of strawberry: Fragaria chiloensis from Chile and the wild strawberry Fragaria virginiana from North America. Are you a pineberry fan? Will you be growing them next year? 😋🍓 Happy Growing! 🌱🫶 . . . . #pineberry #pineberries #homegrownstrawberries #harvest #fruitpicking #strawberrypicking #containergrowing #gardening #homegrown #gardener #gardeninspiration #everyonecangrowtheirown #gardenblog #gardenblogger #gardentherapy #girlsthatgarden #growyourown #gyo #growwhatyoueat #vegpatch #harrogate #growingfood #sustainablesprout #yorkshirelife #gardeningtips #beginnergardening #growfood #girlswhogarden #homegrownfood
