THE West Hollywood, LA travel guide (Save & Share) West Hollywood, the glamorous heart of LA, did not disappoint. Even after countless visits, there’s always more of LA and California in general to explore. I’ve toyed with the idea of moving to LA in the past. Never say never, but in the meantime here’s how I channeled my inner LA girl on this solo trip: Cocktails with a Sunset Strip view from rooftop bars, which somehow turned into a date for me?? Another story for another day LOL Hiked Runyon Canyon, a classic LA experience with stunning city vistas. Refueled with a superfood smoothie at Sunlife Organics. Get the strawberry matcha iced latte. And this is coming from someone who does not like matcha! Treated myself to a glow-inducing FaceGym workout. My first experience and my face looked SNATCHED when I walked out of that door. Pepperoni pizza at the new Great White for lunch. As a pepperoni pizza snob, it delivered! Dined at the celeb hotspot Craig’s (the bread and calamari were divine). Squeezed in a yoga or hot pilates session – it’s practically mandatory in LA! Indulged in French toast at the iconic Urth before hitting Melrose for some retail therapy. West Hollywood is a great base when visiting LA - walkable, plenty of restaurants, and easy access to other neighborhoods. Uber is a convenient way to get around, but the costs can add up. If you want to explore beyond your immediate area (beaches, hikes, etc.), having a car gives you the most freedom. Just be mindful of overnight hotel parking costs! As you can see, LA is an adult’s playground. Take a short quiz on visitcalifornia.com to learn your ‘Play personality’ and what your perfect vacation would look like. Ever been to LA?
