Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of store bought journals being called ‘junk journals’ based off the way they’re being used and filled (with ‘junk’.) I’ve been binding my own junk journals for about 10 years now and wanted to share a quick explanation of where the term originates! ♥️ it originates from binding/recycling various ‘junk’ into a journal form.
