Get it if you still can! Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolate) is highly invasive in many parts of the U.S. and it spreads like crazy. Because it’s so vigorous it crowds out other things in the garden and native plants and some of those could be essential in feeding various species so let’s all go make some pesto! Note: the proper way to dispose of invasive plants is the garbage as opposed to yard waste bags, pickups, transfer stations or woods. However, since it seems like there are no seeds on these I think it’s ok to include them. With seeds: trash please. Caveat: if you have a yard waste pile and you turn it, it may get hot enough to kill the seeds. Anyone know about this or have anything to add? (Side note to caveat: no matter what, Japanese knotweed goes in the garbage. Creamy Garlic Mustard Chicken  Here’s The Recipe Ingredients -  Chicken & Seasoning -  1 Tbsp (20ml) - Olive Oil  2-3 - Chicken Breast, Butterflied & Halved 1 1/2 tsp (4g) - Onion Powder  1 1/2 tsp (4g) - Garlic Powder  1 Tbsp (14g) - Unsalted Butter  Salt & Pepper   Creamy Mustard Sauce -  1 Tbsp (20ml) - Olive Oil  1 - Brown (Yellow) Onion, Diced 6 - Garlic Cloves, Grated  1/2 Cup (125ml) - Wine or Chicken or Vegetable Stock (Alcohol Substitute) 1 1/2 Tbsp (30g) - Dijon Mustard 1 Tbsp (20g) - Wholegrain Mustard 1 Cup (250ml) - Thickened Cream 5g (0.2oz) - Fresh Thyme, Picked & Chopped  5g (0.2oz) - Fresh Parsley, Roughly Chopped  3g (0.1oz) - Fresh Tarragon, Picked  Seasoning To Taste Method -  Add the chicken breast fillets to a mixing bowl. Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix to combine.  Heat a medium-high pan, add olive oil, and sear the chicken for 3 1/2 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside.  In the same pan over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and onion and sauté for 5 minutes, mixing regularly. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, mixing constantly. Season to taste. Pour in the wine or stock and bring to a boil. Once boiling, mix well and reduce for 2 minutes or until reduced by 1/2. Add in both mustards and mix, cooking for 1 minute. Check seasoning.  Add the cream, bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low and cook for 6-8 minutes or until reduced and thickened. Add the cooked chicken, thyme, parsley and tarragon and cook for 1 minute. Check and adjust seasoning. Remove from heat.  Serve the creamy mustard chicken on a bed of mash, garnish with parsley and cracked black pepper. Dig in.  #garlicsauce #creamysauce #creamygarlicsauce #chicken #dinnerideas

Why buy it when you can make Mustard 😁 #homemade #mustard #easy #mustardrecipe #try #foryou Mustard (Yellow) 1/2 C. Mustard Seeds 1/2 C. Water 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder 1/8 tsp. Paprika 1/4 tsp. Turmeric 1/3 C. Vinegar Grind seeds to a fine powder. The finer the powder the smoother the mustard will be. After grinding the seeds to a fine powder to a saucepan add all ingredients besides the vinegar; and mix well. Cook mustard mixture over a low medium-low heat for 20 minutes, be sure to stir often. It will form a thick paste. After cooking for 20 minutes mix in vinegar till smooth and continue to cook for five more minutes after five minutes of cooking and mixing allow your mustard to cool before putting in an airtight container. Mustard can be stored in the refrigerator for three months.

Trader Joe’s Aioli Garlic Mustard Sauce!! Welcome to the TJ’s Sauce Series!! Hopefully sparking some inspiration on fun yet easy Trader Joe’s Meals! No to mention, elevated meals at Trader Joe’s Prices:) - - All Ingredients are from Trader Joe’s (with the sometimes exception of olive oil, S&P, and garlic) - Roasted Potatoes: - Bring water & peeled potatoes to a boil until soft enough to poke with a knife - Drain potatoes and return to pot; shake until the edges are roughed up and fluffy - Coat bottom of pan with olive oil, place in roughed up potatoes and season with (S&P, Garlic powder, and thyme) - Roast at 400 Degrees, flipping the potatoes every 20 mins (usually 3-4x depending on how big potatoes are); on the last flip, feel free to add minced garlic - but do not add it earlier as it will burn - Salmon: - Spread Aioli Garlic Mustard on salmon - cook according to package instructions - Asparagus: - Drizzle with olive oil and S&P - Roast at 350 for ~12-15 min until tender and soft - #traderjoesrecipe #traderjoes #aioligarlicmustard

All about the Sauce, 43 of 50. My favourite Garlic Mayonnaise, warming and subtle in flavour but packing a bit savoury umami punch. Very addictive especially with salty chips/fries. 15 garlic cloves 250ml neutral flavoured oil so sunflower/vegetable/avocado etc 1 bay leaf Few sprigs of thyme Few sprigs of Rosemary 2 large egg yolks 1 tsp Dijon mustard Squeeze of lemon juice 1 heaped tsp white miso paste or 1 tsp salt Handful of flat parsley Few chopped chives 1. Gently cook the garlic in the oil with herbs for 45 mins, ideally around 80c. Strain off the oil and set aside to cook then remove the herbs their work here is done. 2. Crush the garlic cloves and set to one side 3. Add the egg yolks, mustard, lemon and miso or salt to a bowl and whisk. Stream in the garlic oil and whisk constantly until a mayonnaise forms 4. Add the garlic, parsley and chives. Season to taste with salt and lemon juice 5. Eat mayonnaise and be happy #sauce #sauces #cooking #recipe #garlic
