Here’s where to go ⬇️ 1.Gasadalur The “Valley of Geese” is a village located on the west side of Vágar, only about 30 minutes from the airport! You’ll go through a tunnel carved through a mountain specifically for this village of 50 people. It’s famous for being the home of Mulafossur, a waterfall beautifully spilling out onto the Atlantic Ocean. 2.Mykines Known as the Puffin paradise of the Faroe Islands, take a ferry out of Sørvágur and be sure to hire a guide when visiting. Its popularity with tourists makes it a fragile environment, be curious wisely! 3.Drangarnir An iconic islet off the coast, you can opt to hike for a few hours from Sørvágur to photograph it or hop on a boat tour and get dropped off at the cliffs with @aviewtosea! 4.Gjogv This idyllic village is home to a beautiful gorge known for birding and epic hikes nearby. The drive to it is half the fun too! We hiked on the Hvíthamar trail and our kids had a blast playing along the stunning ridge. 5.Hanusarstova While there’s many boutique hotels in the Faroes, there’s nothing like spending the night on a farm in a luxurious and playful Airbnb like this one. You’ll get to enjoy dinner and hear stories from hosts, Jon and Harriet about life in the Faroes. Our kids had the BEST time playing way past their bedtime and we left with smiles on our faces wishing we were there for longer. ✈️Save this post for future trip planning & make sure to add the Faroe Islands to your bucket list! @World Nomads #travel #travelfamily #faroeislands #visitfaroeislands #worldnomads #travelbucketlist #travelwithkids
