We do crepe myrtles a little different in Missouri. They tell us where to trim based on winter dieback… if we dont have to trim them, we try not too. But usually we have a lot of dead to trim out of them after winter, so trim back to the live tissue and then they usually bounce back with like 3-8’ of growth in a single year. And often times, they grow back from the base or roots… so we can’t trim them all cool or keep them as trees like ya’ll do in the south. @Service_Ninja @Grow It We Mow It LLC I know ya’ll dont get along, but i just had to show you both our crepe myrtles up here and the tragedy I go through with them regularly dieing out on top from winter. #plants #lawntok #learnontiktok
