Start a community garden, or green space in 2024 🌱 With Christmas just around the corner, planning next years garden might not be at the top of the to do list, but in my experience, planning and preparing the garden now enables the best possible start to the new growing season. 😊✨ So if you, or someone you know, is thinking of starting or developing a new or existing community garden or green space in the coming year, ‘The Nature Hubs Fund’ by environmental charity @Hubbub might just be exactly what you are looking for. They are offering up to £6,000 to around 50, new or existing nature projects to create or enhance urban green spaces or community gardens! These Nature Hubs will look to bring people closer together and nature closer to people, allowing opportunities for developing new skills such as growing food and many other nature based activities. Applications are now open and you only have until the 11th of January to apply, so now’s the perfect time to apply before the festivities. I’d really appreciate it if you could share to help us spread the word and let me know in the comments how gardens and green spaces have positively impacted you or your community. 🌱
