Chicken Pate! Sorry... Pâté (Hummus-style) Chicken liver is an affordable and widely available ingredient that is, when treated properly, incredibly luxurious. Anddd it just so happens that chicken liver is the primary ingredient in one variety of French Pâté (buttery meat spread), which, if you’re unaware, is one of the best and most flavorful forms of charcuterie available for human consumption. Okay, so I really don’t mean to come off as the annoying friend who studied abroad and can’t stop talking about it, but we NEED to normalize pate here in the states. For real. Do you like butter? Okay, good. Do you like chicken? Fewf, me too. THIS DISH IS ESSENTIALLY CHICKEN BUTTER! So, theoretically, you should dig it AND I think even your most squeamish friends and fam might too… maybe just leave out the part about the chicken liver.
