Pricing : 8 out of 10, between 600 and 2000$ depending on the quality Comfort : 7 out of 10, longer rides over 2 hours can become uncomfortable Zwift Racing : 7 out of 10. On bigger sprint, the trainer often move sideways Intervals training : 7 out of 10. Usability : 5 out of 10. It sucks to mount your bike on the fall and spring season on and off. You can’t share your bike with your GF/friends easily, you add wear and tear on your components Now the smart bike : 35/50 : The best for zwift racing.
Pricing : 4 out of 10, usually above 2000$ Comfort : 3 out of 10, Lower back hurts after over 1 hour Zwift racing : 10 out of 10. Being such a tank, you can go all-out on sprint. Also the brakes are like a cheat code to increase power gradually rather than shifting a gear Interval training : 8 out of 10. Great for sub-1h workout Usability : 10 out of 10. You can test new positions, you can have multiple people using it, you don’t wear our bike components Rollers : 38/10 : The best for intervals training. @trutrainer_rollers are awesome! (code charlesouimet10) Pricing : 6 out of 10. Good rollers for proper indoor training are between 1000 and 2000$ Comfort : 10 out of 10. It’s just like riding outside, the side to side movement is natural and doesn’t strain your body Zwift racing : 4 out of 10. Would be good enough if you are not a sprinter and only stay seated. But they quite difficult to sprint and go over 600 watts. 4/10 Interval training : 10 out of 10. It doesn’t get better than this Usability : 8 out of 10. You keep your bike as is. Easy to hop on and off. Wheel-on Trainer : 0/50, avoid at all cost.
