Gyudon Ingredients * 0.5 lbs thinly sliced beef * 1/2 cup water * 1/2 tsp hondashi * 1.5 tbsp sugar * 1/4 cups sake * 5 tbsp mirin * 5 tbsp soy sauce * 1 tsp ginger(minced) * 1/2 onion(sliced) * Cooked rice * Onsen Tamago * Green onion * Pickled ginger * Togarashi Instructions 1. In a saucepan, combine water, hondashi, sugar, sake, mirin, and soy sauce. Simmer on medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. 2. Add minced ginger and onions and cook for 5 minutes so the onions soften up. 3. Add sliced beef and cook for a 5 minutes until the beef is no longer raw. 4.
