Wonderskin is an award-winning beauty brand with clean, high-tech products in both makeup and skincare. To increase sales of their signature no-fade, lasting lip stain, Wonderskin was one of the first brands to test TikTok's newest Video Shopping Ads solution.


The Solution

Driving product sales with shoppable in-feed solution

To promote their signature no-fade, lasting lip stain, Wonderskin leveraged Video Shopping Ads to drive awareness and sales for their hero product, featuring its wide collection of varying colors. The brand also targeted audiences with interests and behaviors in beauty and makeup, to drive increased relevance.


Wonderskin found that their tutorial style video ads were effective in driving potential customers to its online store, especially when paired with Video Shopping Ad's Product Cards and Dynamic Destination. Product Cards prominently featured Wonderskin's product directly on their in-feed ad, and when users clicked on the CTA, Dynamic Destination kicked into gear, a feature that automatically creates an in-app product landing page that prominently featured Wonderskin's products. Each landing page is determined by a users intent to buy, while letting shoppers learn more and seamlessly buy from TikTok.


The Results

Wonderskin's Video Shopping Ads campaign was an effective tool in driving sales and performance with 46% higher ROAS. Wonderskin promoted 1 hero SKU, their Wonder Blading Peel and Reveal Lip Stain, where they had an instant landing page with 9 color variations, which helped to drive higher sales and ROAS.


From their ad, audiences were driven to an in-app Product Listing Page featuring all available SKU shades and drove 21% higher complete payment rate for the brand. Additionally, this campaign drove greater efficiencies for the brand with 33% more efficient Cost Per Complete Payment compared to the account average.
