I saw @TARA SIGARI MAKEUP FASHION video on the under blushing technique and HAD TO TRY. It’s hands down my new favorite way to do blush. It gives you that photshopped, diffused, very seamless finish. Very kylie. With this metho, i show how to do it with peach blush and pink blush, but i an so excited to try with a deep berry tone.

For this particular makeup video on the classic essence, I really wasn’t focusing on some of the facial features lots of other sources use to determine whether someone is a “classic.” Instead, I really was just focusing on “essence” - so the style, the energy, even the aesthetic that a person is known for (like Rosie Huntington Whiteley). Replying to @_josh_1806 Makeup for the Gamine essence type! This is the coolest archetype in my opinion. From the reading I have done, gamines might often find that traditional ways of “dressing up” in a romantic or sexy fashion can be too overwhelming to their natural appearance both with makeup and fashion. This is why although they can pull off many looks, an underlying theme of “laid back and letting their natural boyish beauty” shine through works for them. This doesn’t mean they can’t experiment with funky makeup looks, but that while doing so, the makeup should still only highlight 1 or 2 focus points on the face.

Makeup for the romantic essence type PART 2 🩷 I thought we would start with a very classic, romantic makeup look, the first thing I think of when I think of the romantic. I would like to say I think there is definitely value in leaning into exaggerated archetypes when you feel like you want to do some experimenting, but I do think this whole categorization system should be taken with a massive grain of salt. Still, a fun place to start and I think the overlap of some of these essences as well as the subcategories under them could be fun to get into.
