Here is an ammonite rock that we found in a freshly fallen shale slab and opened up on the beach with our hammer 🏝🌊 The surrounding shale is softer than the limestone and is easily removed. Inside is a beautiful Dactylioceras commune ammonite from the Jurassic 😍🦑 This ammonite is around 185 Million Years Old! 💀
