We all know that an image is worth more than a thousand words. There are so many ways to communicate, especially in today’s world. But have you ever heard about printing on zips?! That’s right! At YKK we have the technology to digitally print any design onto the zipper creating the most unique and expressive zips! This zipper model is called “Prifa” and can be another way to add extra creative details to garments or accessories. Any image or design can be printed on the tape and even across the elements! 🤯 Check out this super cool artwork made by the artist @pins_artist (PiNS) using Prifa zippers. This is a special example we made by creating a kind of ‘puzzle’ from PiNS artwork to show off the Prifa zippers. @pins_artist collaborated with us on an event and exhibition back in 2019 and graffitied our shutters, giving them a new life. As the name suggests, deadstock is the stock that cant be sold and we rescue it before it goes to landfill. By using deadstock in your designs you’re actually contributing to reduce waste and you’re not ordering new materials that need extra resources to be created. We hate seeing useful materials go to waste, so we’re hosting this Deadstock Day to introduce you to the YKK’s deadstock and show you the many ways that you can design eco-friendly by using deadstock in your designs.
