I was quite literally typing up a long letter to this person when I realized that, with how everything was winding up, they were simply not interested in salvaging what was left of our friendship.
This, after feeling for months that all I do is give, and all they do is take, is what inspired Absolutely Nothing.
My producer @dima_graziani and I created the typing sound by recording me typing on his computer keyboard.

It's really cool to witness the transfiguration process that a piano song undertakes as it becomes a fully fledged pop record.
I've been fortunate to work with an incredible producer who knows how to transform my creative ideas into a pop masterpiece.
But when I perform these songs live, and it's just me and the piano, that's when the soul of the song really shines.
That's why I'm re-releasing my past 5 singles in their stripped piano versions, as a mini-album.
No synths, no base, no harmonies. Just me and the keys 🎹 🎶
