My heart is bigger and higher than a zeppelin after the Christmas event at the Los Angeles Mission, which fed several hundred people in addition to giving haircuts, manicures, new clothes, and toys to women, children, and men of all ages and races. Being in proximity to people in material need brings into sharp focus the spiritual need we all share to give freely to one another. As we shift our mindset from seeing giving as something we should consider doing to the thing that brings us alive, we will see our world come back into the alignment we all seek.
