Many of you ask about how Clara communicates, and she has an AAC device. I can say that since she is around eight years old, I’m trying to make her use one. I tried different devices (iPad, iPhone, Android), other operative systems, and various software… added pictures of people, places, and phrases… clara just doesn’t want to use them. It is too slow for her, and too complicated to open with her hemiparesis… right now, she even knows how to program it. The first time we went to share Clara’s story with @Jared Scott in a school nearby Santa Clarita, Clara was so worried about what the kids would think about her. We are so happy and thankful to our awesome community for hooking us up with GoFundMe and helping us take that first step toward buying a beach wheelchair to donate to a local house that's all about giving hope and support to people with disabilities.
