I did their 10-day Introduction to Buddhism course. 2️⃣ 4-day trek to Poon Hill with a group of people I’d met at the retreat. My favorite day was the night we spent in Ghorepani. It’s the most beautiful little village with views of the Himalayas. 3️⃣ Meeting up with a Nepali guy I met on an airplane 3.5 years ago. Looking for rhinos in Nepal.🇳🇵We spent 24 hours at Barahi Jungle Lodge in Chitwan National Park. They took us on a sunset boat safari and a morning Jeep safari where we saw lots of wildlife (including around 10 rhinos)! As someone who’s been traveling full-time for the past year and a half, I’ve come to value places that make me feel at home. The Island of Ireland was one of those places. What I initially thought would be more of a sightseeing trip, turned into a chance to reconnect with myself, spend time out in nature, and to make memories with new friends.
