BLIND first impression of Borrowed Page (1 and 2) from American MashnGrain. Of course, volume 2 turned out to be a bit obvious because of the malt - maybe I will try it with some scoches blind?! BLIND first impression of Borrowed Page (1 and 2) from American MashnGrain. Of course, volume 2 turned out to be a bit obvious because of the malt - maybe I will try it with some scoches blind?! You get the brown sugar from the Buffalo Trace along with some of the fruitiness from the Glenlivet. Unfortunately it’s all downhill from there, with the bitter malt and the bourbon spice battling it out.
