We’ve been harvesting snapdragons in this 4x8, 10-in-1 raised bed. We planted them in 4 rows, 10”x10” apart. Snapdragons are one of our favorite flowers to grow! Sowing them can be a bit tricky since the seed is so small, but once you get past this they’re very resilient and produce lots of blooms!

There’s nothing better than recipes made from your garden! We paired this homemade lemon basil pesto with some chicken and rice to make the perfect lunch. It was fresh, delicious and so rewarding to use herbs from our harvest.
Ingredients:
- Lemon Basil (One of our favorite, unique varieties!)

Our dragon tongue beans were starting to yellow so we decided to give them some love! Uniform yellowing like this is ordinarily a sign of nitrogen deficiency and we knew that Microlife’s Ocean Harvest was the perfect fix. How do you prevent yellowing in your garden? 🍃

It’s planting day! To gear up for summer, we planted cucumbers and sugar baby watermelons which are both hydrating and full of nutrients. We also co-planted milkweed to attract pollinators which will help promote healthy growth for our melons! What are you excited to grow this summer? 🍉 🥒

We can’t say enough about calendula. With so many benefits, it’s simply one of the best plants to grow in your garden and on top of that, saving its seed is incredibly easy! All you have to do is either wait for the seed to mature on the plant or cut the seed head and store in a cool, dry place until the seed has matured! Let us know if you’d try this in the comments! 🌼
