While we didn't find quite as many options as we expected, several breweries in Virginia have taken up the challenge of creating high-quality, non-alcoholic beers. Here are a few standouts! What did we miss?

@Three Notch’d Brewing Co. - With locations in Charlottesville, Richmond, Roanoke, and Virginia Beach, it shouldn’t be too hard to get your hands on Uncool, the non-alcoholic IPA made by Three Notch’d Brewery. They seem to be blazing the trail in the locally brewed NA beer space and this was the option most widely available. In fact, if you can’t stop by their brewery, you can snag it at Total Wine!

@PortCityBrew - This brewery in Alexandria, VA makes a non-alcoholic, hop-infused sparkling water called Hopwell. It has a tropical hoppy aroma and a refreshing pop of floral hop flavor. It’s perfect if you’re craving something hoppy and flavorful without the beer (or calories!) of a traditional drink.

@The Veil Brewing - Known for their innovative approach to brewing, The Veil has ventured into the non-alcoholic beer space with enthusiasm. Their popular Ever Calm brew is a Gose-style drink with fruit vibes.

Precarious Beer Project- This Williamsburg-based brewery developed its Day Ripper beer which is a light and crisp non alcoholic beer. (Unfortunately, it’s not always on the menu, so keep that in mind!)

@DirtFarmBrewing - This brewery located in Bluemont, VA, released a 0% AF beer, a hoppy IPA that doesn’t skip on flavor. It’s not always on tap, so check in with the brewery before your visit!

@CrozetPizza.Cville is a popular pizzeria in Crozet, Virginia and now we know why. 😍 It has gained a reputation for serving delicious and unique pizza creations, making it a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. In fact, it was named in National Geographic’s driving guides to America as the Best Pizza in the World. Yes, really. 🍕

It’s not too far from the Rockfish Gap entrance of Shenandoah National Park so it’s a great stop after a hike!

We stopped in and tried the salad pizza, which was a seasoned pizza crust topped with mixed greens, avocado, tomatoes, Parmesan and drizzled with a delicious homemade dressing.

If you find yourself near Crozet, VA you have to stop in! (And even if you’re not near Crozet… we think it’s worth the drive.
