Is your child or client crying when bringing them to the toilet ?
STOP!
We need to get a lot of reinforcement like the child's favorite video, food, toy, etc. And make the bathroom and toilet a fun place to be. If the child is fighting even sitting, you won't get anywhere.
So if you have crying, back way up!

No! Unless it's dangerous of course.
We want to teach skills for a child to be able and engage with us but stimming safely is good for a child to be able to keep themselves busy when you can't.

Giving medication, whether it's ongoing or just when they are sick, is hard !!
Putting medication in bottles or liquid to hide it, isn't a good idea and here's why
✨ They may not get it all if they don't finish the liquid
✨They aren't learning to take needed medicine.
Instead , I like to get kids off liquids and swallowing medication. Start small with a tiny piece of rice and get larger. I prefer these "non tasty" options so that kids swallow vs. Bite if you use candy.

Only have one pacifier that they can have and instead of having it all day, limit it to when they need it most ! When it's outside that time, keep it in a box or safe place for the next scheduled time.
This slow weaning process will reduce stress for kids with or without autism and the whole family.
