One of our customers popped into us with a slight issue they had after dropping there iphone 14 into a pot of oil based paint! The first problem was the earpiece was completely wrecked and not giving out any sound, the second issue was the oil based paint wasn’t coming off the iPhone to easy especially in all the sides and small gaps the phone has. We got it opened up , cleaned out and back working again after being told elsewhere chances are you will need a new phone or at least a new screen and earpiece replacement! We got it back on working without using any new parts, saving our customer a small fortune! The poor thing had snapped hinges, rendering its screen unusable. 😢 After an exhaustive search for replacement parts (trust us, it wasn’t easy), we finally got our hands on them all the way from China! 🌏 It took some time, patience, and a lot of TLC, but we managed to carefully install those new hinges and housing onto the 3DSXL and now, it’s back to life, looking and functioning like it just rolled off the assembly line.
