Now before I get haters, just hear me out. I am not saying go out 2 days postpartum and walk a mile or do weighted squats. 🛑
What I am saying is that light movement will help with postpartum recovery. If we don't do anything our muscles get weak and when we get weak we can't function.
Things like:
💪 Pelvic tilts
💪Clams
💪Bridges
💪Heel slides
are gentle and help to promote core recovery postpartum. Think about it, these are all moves that you do to get in and out of bed right?
Let's work smarter not harder. Don't wait until you body loses strength over those 6 weeks. Start encouraging core recovery and strength so that you can be the strongest version of you.

If you are not engaging correctly, you could be making your ab separation or DRA worse.
When you activate your abdominal wall correctly, your shoulders shouldn't rise and your rib cage shouldn't extend.
Please STOP sucking in to brace or engage your abs. That is only a change in pressure and not truly a muscle activation. This also will not help with a postpartum mompooch.
