Stoos Ridge Hike • Klingenstock to Fronalpstock ⛰️🇨🇭
We started the hike in Schwyz at the car park for the stoosbahn, the worlds steepest funicular which reaches a gradient of 110%, this was like a little rollercoaster ride on its own! 🎢
this takes you up to Stoos village and from here you can hike up to Klingenstock (steep!!!) or get a chair lift up and start the ridge walk over to Fronalpstock from there
We hiked up, did the ridge walk and hiked back down (an easy walk back down following a gravel track but you can also get a chair lift back down too) and it took roughly just over 4 hours.
The views over Lake Lucerne and just the views in general are unrealllll 🫶🏼
In terms of hikes in Switzerland, this one is pretty accessible for anyone, but there are some steep drops on the ridge walk 🫣
A return trip on the funicular cost 50CHF in total for 2 people and a dog and the parking in Schwyz was 6CHF (we were there for around 6 hours)

Our favourite roadtrip so far. ✨🫶🏼 we’ve loved Spain and Portugal SO much.
Everything about it. The weather. The beaches. The park ups. The towns and cities. The food. All of it is just unreal.
We didn’t know how this trip was going to work out with working a lot more this time. But the balance of travelling at a slower pace and working has made us appreciate the getting out and exploring and doing stuff so much more.
It doesn’t feel so much like a holiday anymore, more just a way of life and we love it. 🫶🏼

Kayaking along the coast of the Algarve and in the Benagil Cave!
We had such a good time, this spot is very popular, it’s one of the most iconic spots in the Algarve!
We decided to book a group trip for this rather than using our own kayak, partly because our campsite wasn’t close to the cave but also we just think sometimes these popular spots are better to do in a group, it was also nice to get a lil boat trip in there too ⛴️
There are loads and loads of tour companies in Albufeira offering these sorts of trips as well as boat trips to the cave also.
Ours cost €45 each which is pretty expensive but we’d say it was worth it. It was about a 3.5 hour trip in total.

We’ve been staying at Camping Albufeira for the past few days so we thought we’d show you around! 🏕️
The campsite has everything you could possibly need and more - several really nice pools, restaurant, bar, cafe, a really well stocked supermarket and even a spa! 🧖🏼♀️
It’s the only campsite in the Albufeira area and it’s very busy, even in April, but even so, the pitches are actually peaceful so when you’re sat at your van it’s pretty chilled and calm.
There’s loads of motorhome services, water taps, bins etc spotted around the campsite and everything is clean and tidy.
When we first got here we were abit like >> 😬 we don’t really like massive big busy campsites but this one has grown on us loads!
We’re giving it 3.5 out of 5 because we compare every campsite we stay at to the one we stayed at in Croatia over Christmas which was bloody unreal 🤪
Very good location for getting into Albufeira, it’s only about a 30/40 walk into Albufeira old town and it only cost us €4.50 in a taxi to get back! 👌🏼
