I’ve been challenging myself to block my days in threes… 8-12, 12-4, and 4-8. Each quarter has a different to-do list, each one is a new start. Getting these 3 tasks done in the first quarter of the day makes some SERIOUS difference in the producitivity following. Asking for prayers that the Holy Spirit would continue to grow me in self discipline to keep this up so I can live my life to the fullest for The Lord! Found this in my drafts and had to laugh. Praise the Lord- I am in a wonderful, most likely long term (Lord willing) living situation with a Christian couple from my church! I have a full bathroom, walk in closet, and great sized bedroom at a great location close to church that is affordable! The Lord has seriously blessed me with this set up and I couldn’t be more thankful. As I look back on the journey it took to get here (where I really did move 7 times in 17 months…) it is so obvious that God had a purpose. He always does! Each place that I lived had a purpose, the concept of never being settled had a purpose, and finally settling here at The Bairds has a purpose! He uses all things for our good and our growth, and I wouldn’t change a thing! I am so thankful to everyone who homed me for a season and the relationships I built in all of those homes! Operation Christmas Child- helping send Christmas gifts to children in need for almost 30 years! What a blessing from the Lord that so many people are willing to send in boxes or volunteer in a processing center to get them to the children of the world! I started this tradition when I got my drivers license at 16 and haven’t stopped since! We are on year 6 of cookie delivering!! First time doing it on Christmas Eve and I loved how it spread the Christmas spirit. It just all felt very pointed… if I had been wearing a flower or heart would it have still been “no jewelry allowed”? If I hadn’t had a conversation with the director explaining my faith would they have noticed/cared?
