We become so accustomed to sayings like this and we don’t even stop for a second to think about what it is we are actually saying.
Who even put those 2 words together to begin with?
The truth is that sometimes life throws us curve balls that we aren’t expecting.
- a diagnosis
- a breakup
- bankruptcy
- miscarriage
- getting laid off
there is no question that these things present us with challenges, pain, uncertainty and straight up shit to deal with..
But my life is an example that you can find the holy in the shit and turn your pain into your purpose if you allow yourself to change your story from victim to victor.
This shift in perspective has made all the difference in my ability to overcome the inevitable adversities of life.
