I feel proud of the progress she's made, and I have no doubt that she'll blossom in her forever home. She has an amazing mama with a big heart for shy kitties. I'm glad to share that Chantilly was adopted today! I feel proud of the progress she's made, and I have no doubt that she'll blossom in her forever home. She has an amazing mama with a big heart for shy kitties. When they met, I was so touched by the way she interacted with Chantilly. Meet Kerfy! Kerfy is a senior cat who was too sick and too friendly to participate in the "return" part of TNR. I mean, get this: Instead of going into a trap, he let me lure him into a carrier, purred, and showed me how much he loves human touch. His caregiver also shared with me how concerned she was for his safety due to his illness and some threats from her neighbors. The TNR clinic and I got him set up with a local rescue, and he found his way into foster care with me after he was neutered. While we don't know exactly how old Kerfy is, we do know that he has years of love to share.💕 He will be adoptable through @animalrescueoftherockies in the future — stay tuned and help me share his story! Ps. Kerfy's named after a crusty, pink stuffed animal I had as a toddler. Meet Kerfy! Kerfy is a senior cat who was too sick and too friendly to participate in the "return" part of TNR. I mean, get this: Instead of going into a trap, he let me lure him into a carrier, purred, and showed me how much he loves human touch. 🎯Target = Acquired🪤 Mr. Sissy has been sick since December, but we got him last night! I heard this boy's sniffles from across the road, even above the wind.🥺 He meowed at us the whole time and wouldn't go into any of the traps, probably because he couldn't smell very well. I used a trick from @heidiwranglescats and lured him into my side entry carrier with some tuna. The video makes it look sort of simple, but it took 17 minutes of patiently crouching in the cold and asking his sweet caregiver to give him some space. She's the one who named him Sissy; I added the Mr.😉 Mr. Sissy is shy, but if you watch until the end you'll see how much he enjoyed a few scritches. This morning, he was neutered, ear-tipped, and vetted!
