#Throwback to The 1985 JUNO Awards where lucky fans were treated to a performance of ‘Its Only Love’ by Tina Turner and Bryan Adams.
In an interview with Songfacts years later, Adams said: "Working with Tina Turner was amazing. I used to go to see her in the clubs when I was in my late teens/early 20s before she hit the big time. It was incredible to watch her. Amazingly when we toured together years later, I never saw Tina walk through a performance, she always put on a great show, and was gracious and grateful to her audience. It was such a privilege to have sung with her, especially since I was only 24 at the time."
The track was a hit and has appeared on both artists’ greatest hits compilations: Adams' Anthology (2005) and Turner's All the Best (2004). #tinaturner #bryanadams #1985

#DidJUNO , legendary jazz pianist Dr Oliver Jones took piano lessons from #OscarPeterson ’s sister Daisy Peterson Sweeney? Last week, we welcomed Jones into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame in a ceremony presented by Music Canada. Jones joins other legendary jazz artists like Rob McConnell, Maynard Ferguson, and friend Oscar Peterson in the Hall of Fame.
We’re thrilled to welcome four artists into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame tonight: Diane Dufresne, Dr. Oliver Jones, Terri Clark and Trooper. Deborah Cox, our 2022 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee will also appear to place her name plaque onto the wall besides other legendary artists like Oscar Peterson, Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette, Bryan Adams and many more.
