To celebrate the impact of #RedSoxNation during year’s @weei_sports /@nesn Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon presented by Arbella Insurance and throughout the past 70 years of partnership, we’re recognizing the birthday of one of our heroes who was there from the beginning—Jimmy Fund and @redsox legend, Ted Williams!
We are forever grateful for all that Ted did for the Jimmy Fund. His efforts helped lead to remarkable progress in the treatment of cancer for children and adults, and his legacy of giving lives on forever through the generous support of fans like you. Thank you for helping us strike out cancer this year and every year at the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon.

Together the two talked about their shared love of baseball, giraffes, and made plans to meet in person during the season.
