The mission of The Grocery Spot is to end food insecurity and help families by providing fresh healthy food items. Today a humbling woman who was referred came in the store with her daughter and was greeted with warm hearts by our staff in which they explained to her how the process works….she busted out in tears 😭. This woman drove two hours to get the needed items for her family. We all have been through many obstacles in life, trying to make ends meet paycheck to paycheck. But when you connect with people who point you in the right direction, you can be that halo for someone else. It vital as we all should give back in monetary donations or volunteering at The Grocery Spot as we much as we get….we understand you don’t have it at that time but when you do remember to always GIVE as we GET.
