#HurricaneLee is fluctuating in intensity as was expected. We continue to have *high* confidence that #Lee will not impact #Florida and turn sharply north when just east of the #Bahamas . From there, we continue to watch how things will impact Lee. No answers yet but we are a long way from impacts.

#HurricaneLee is likely a category 5 storm this evening and will continue intensifying into tomorrow before stabilizing and fluctuating in intensity this weekend. Tropical Storm #Lee formed this evening. While it should pass north of the #Caribbean islands, it’s worth keeping an eye on. #Bermuda definitely needs to watch it, and we will see about the East Coast. Not the most likely outcome now but a possibility.
