From frolicking through lush meadows to taking refreshing dips in crystal-clear streams, this adventurous pup knows how to make the most of his outdoor escapades. 🌳🌊

Introducing Nelson, a 9-month-old American Bulldog who was displaying intense overexcitement, jumping up, demanding attention and severe reactivity to other dogs. Prior to visiting us at our Wakefield Centre, Nelson had been seen by another “trainer” who relied heavily on harsh tools which clearly didn’t help. A big, strong dog with these sort of unwanted behaviours is never going to end well - thankfully his owners found us and booked an assessment. After spending a boost day with our fantastic trainers, his transformation is clear to see! He understand not to pull, happily walks calmly on his lead and is even able to be around animals/wildlife without becoming overexcited or reactive. This is Nova, a 2 year old Border Collie. Her owners absolutely adore her, however she was extremely fearful of new people which results in her being reactive, barking, growling and lunging. After a year of training with another trainer, they felt they were making some progress but Nova would still display reactivity to people entering her home. Her owners also dreamed of being able to take her for a walk in busy areas without stress or worrying about whether Nova would react or not.
Nova had essentially taught herself that if she was unsure of new people, all she had to do to make them go away was bark, lunge or growl. Following a day of transformative training, building the correct relationship and re-learning that there’s no value in reactive behaviours, Nova was happy spend time with all our amazing trainers and handlers. Her owners arrived at the end of her Boost Day and were shown the exercises they’d need to carry out at home, as well as how they can navigate Nova’s reactivity in the home.

Rambo the Cane Corso had been to see another dog trainer in our local area… The only answer this trainer had was to advise that starvation would be an effective tool in Rambo’s training “in order to increase his food drive”. Needless to say Rambo’s behaviour became even more severe and pushed his owners to their wits end.
Rambo stayed with us for his first full ‘boost day’ of training and made incredible progress. When his owners returned they were delighted that Rambo could now be around dogs and people without displaying reactive behaviour, but also incredibly upset that they were unnecessarily advised to starve their beloved family pet. Bert & Ernie came to us for severe reactivity to dogs. Ernie is also nervous towards people. Despite being from the same litter and living together in the same family home, these two will happily turn their reactivity and nervousness on each other in situations where they don’t feel comfortable. This was causing great stress & embarrassment for their owners, so they brought Bert and Ernie to our Leeds training centre in the pursuit of a happier and calmer life. Bert & Ernie’s behaviour towards other dogs was transformed within a few hours of starting their training. Well done boys!
