Plus size is going "clothes shopping" with your friends, but only looking at shoes and accessories 😂

from what I've seen, midsize is less centered around clothing and more about being considered fat by skinny people without actually being plus size

midsized is shopping at city chic for their smallest size, or at target for their biggest and trying to get something that fits right.

And way back before we had City Chic, we had the option of MILLERS so that we too could match our grandmothers in style 😳

Plus size: walking into a store and thinking 'none of these clothes are going to fit me' walking around and then going 'yup, none of these fit' 😩

Your explanation helps me understand that my experiences more closely align with being mid sized even if I’m “plus sized” among my friends and family.

Sizing has definitely altered over the last few years. Used to be hard to get anything above a 14. Now a lot of places straight size go to 20.

If you want some intel: give it about five months and they should be reopening those sizes again if my information is right.

Not to mention how messed up it is that I’m a mid size person but a plus size model 🙄

They were trying to say a fictional character was plus sized despite wearing a small size. I’m— it was a lot, okay

so you're telling me, I'm not a plus size I'm a mid size ? I would buy normally L or XL ... WHATT 🤯

It can depend on your personal perspective but I would say yes, you’re closer to mid-sized like I was when I was an L-XL

People probably get confused because everyone carries their weight differently but it is sizing at the end of the day

I think the issue is that people are using terms for clothing size and terms for body type interchangeably.

You know what's wild. I've never found plus size maternity wear it goes to an 18. It's so bs, I want to highlight my belly but instead

This must have great variation around the world. I’m American & when I lived in the US I wasn’t considered plus size

I never understand what size I am cause I’m pretty sure as sizes in my country are different than the sizes in America

I feel "mid-sized" I'm too big for regular online shopping but too small for "plus size" OL shopping

The days when City Chic was Big Chic City, and they mainly did everyday casual clothes, and a few flashy dresses.
