Solo traveling doesn’t have to be expensive at all. In this video I break down how much I spent on a 7 day solo trip to Guatemala. I visited Guatemala City, Lake Atitlan, Panajachel, & Antigua. In my opinion Guatemala is very affordable and I would definitely return. #femalesolotraveltips #blackgirlguatemala #guatemalaitinerary
Creating this had me a lil choked up lol …. I definitely came a long way and often times I don’t give myself enough credit for making it through everything I’ve been through. We all know healing isn’t linear so im open to seeing where this journey takes me. Hoping to become a full time content creator and find true love in 2023 ❤️ #traumahealingjourney #blackgirlhealing #healingtiktok #mariahthescientist
[SAVE & SHARE] 1. While Alfredo sauce is popular in many Italian restaurants in the United States, it’s not a common dish in Italy. The original recipe for Fettuccine Alfredo 🧑🍳was created by an Italian chef named Alfredo di Lelio in the early 20th century, but it’s not a traditional Italian dish.
2. Everyone says to go to the Trevi fountain before 9AM and they really need to start telling people to go before 7 😂. I arrived at 7 and there were already a few people there. By 7:13 the fountain was FULL of people.
3. Out and about and need to use the restroom? 🚽It’s going to cost you! In Italy they charge about 50 cents to 1 euro to use public restrooms to help maintain the cleanliness and upkeep. It’s a good idea to carry small change with you when traveling so you can easily access public restrooms when needed.
4. Beware🚫 of the bracelet scam! Usually someone will approach you and ask where you’re from and before you know it they’ve put a bracelet on your wrist. When you try to say no they’ll say it’s a gift but eventually tell you a sob story about their pregnant girlfriend and start asking for money. To avoid the whole situation just either ignore them entirely or give the bracelet back and walk away.
5. Although it may be hot, dress appropriately for religious sites like churches ⛪️ and cathedral’s. In many cases, shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed. Bring a shawl or scarf to cover your shoulders, or wear clothing that covers your knees and shoulders. #thingstodoinmilan #thingstodoinrome #italynightlife #blackgirlitaly
