While we were in Las Vegas we roadschooled over to @DISCOVERY Childrenâs Museum to check out Eco city and all the other amazing exhibits they have. We spent the entire day schooling and playing and the kids never got bored. If youâre traveling to the Las Vegas area as a family (especially a homeschooling family), definitely dont miss this stop!
Respect isnt just given, its earned. I teach my children with this philosphy in mind. Simply because when they become adults they should understand how to treat others. When you treat everyone with respect youre less likely to encounter problems. Most people are likely to be kind and respectful back. The best way to respect is to show it. I treat them as human beings because thats what they are. In return they treat me like a more experienced human being, which is all that I am. As a father I am simply a guide that theyre following through this mountain we call life. What gives me peace is remembering that motherhood is not something that is happening to meâŠ.it is a journey that my children and i get to take together. Thereâs lessons in it for both of us, even in the hard moments. When I stop looking for the problem and start embracing the lessonâŠI find purpose in every part of it.
