I’d been working my way down from the 6th floor of MOMA, when I got a text that sent me on my way back to the hotel… but I decided to first do a super quick run-through of the galleries that I hadn’t yet visited. You might be wondering what these paintings have to do with the American Immortal audio drama. The connection is minimal and vague… almost nonexistent. I was in NYC last week and got to spend a few hours wandering around MOMA, where as usual I gravitated to French, German and Russian painters from the earlyish 1900s.
