Had few people asked me for my sourdough recipe, so here it is.
480 grams flour
275 starter
260 water (filtered)
13 grams salt
Mix flour, starter, and water. Rest for 20mins. Add salt and mix. Then stretch and fold every 30 mins over 2 hrs. Place in basket, and wrap in plastic bag and in to fridge overnight. Preheat oven to 220C. Bake in oven for 20 mins with lid on, and a little added water for steam to begin. Then another 35 mins with lid off. #sourdough #bake #bread #recipe #yum #food #ilovebread

It is coffee? or is it Tea? Up until now, I've not had a lot of luck roasting my own coffee beans. Let's face it, it was a lot of work, for what was very ordinary-tasting, Macca's style coffee. But in true hungry gardener style, I don't give up. easily... I figured out that Cascara, ( which means husk or peel in Spanish) can be produced easily from the coffee cherries.
It's worth giving it a go. It was reasonably easy to produce, with just a little bit of labour involved in splitting and removing the beans from within.
it has a unique Flavor that is slightly fruity, nutty and tangy taste. What is best it is loaded with antioxidants and has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. It can aid digestion, boost your mood, and even provide a gentle energy kick.
So, while growing your coffee plant might not lead to a trendy Northside cafe empire, you can still enjoy a cup of homegrown coffee, so to speak.
