When we wrote our memoir High School in 2018 I found all the video we had taken as teenagers (back then I documented everything, aspiring secretly to be a film maker). This clip of us playing music in my bedroom, and making plans with friends to go to a rave that night felt particularly odd to see two decades later. #vhs #highschool #90s #rave
It was the year 2000. We were 20 years old. We had just released our second album. We got asked to play on David Letterman. Paul Shaffer called my apartment to tell me his band would back us since we didn’t have a band yet. I wore a @@Tim Hortons shirt because I was a cheeky 20 year old Canadian. Sara wore a headband.
